We are approaching 420 holiday and getting ready at The Coffee Joint and all Yuma Way Family locations. This year’s theme will be Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
The story was written more than 150 years ago, and it does not carry a single evidence that Charles Lutwidge Dodson, better known as Lewis Carroll, was under the influence of any drugs. Nevertheless the story of Alice is about psychedelics.
Alice falls asleep in a meadow, dreams of plunging through a rabbit hole, then eats mushroom and finds herself too large and then too small. She meets new and bizarre characters on her way as well, including the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the King and Queen of Hearts. She experiences wondrous, often strange adventures, trying to reason in numerous discussions that do not follow the usual paths of logic. Finally, she totally rejects the dream world and wakes up.
Knowing that the book was written by the mathematician, the reader can appreciate that it almost mirrors the theories of quantum physic. The most fascinating thing about quantum physic that it allows for things that are impossible. Things in the book are against Alice’s common sense: ‘I can’t believe that!’ said Alice. ‘… one can’t believe impossible things. But the White Queen has her own principles: “Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.’
At the time of Psychedelic renaissance, we are seeing the correlation. Psychedelics are also so little researched, so impossible, but strangely so evidence based, that makes them associated with quantum physic.
In 2019, at the World’s First Licensed Cannabis Consumption Establishment, we will celebrate the freedom to believe that world is not as “flat” as we were taught, that status quo should be challenged, and that our realities are full of colors, beautiful with possibilities.
Welcome to 420 Celebration at the Wonderland of the Cherry Peak Dispensary, the living proof that nothing is impossible and we are looking forward to seeing you at herry Peak for our 4/20 celebration!
